Nicole has been working with dogs professionally since 2002 and has worked with over 500 dogs on Cape Cod. She started her career as a volunteer at the San Francisco SPCA and experienced first hand the amazing results of positive reinforcment training with all of the shelter dogs residing at the SPCA. When she arrived on Cape Cod, she began volunteering at the Centerville MSPCA, where she worked with the shelter staff on evaluating the dogs and recommending training and behavior modification when needed. Nicole opened her own training center in 2005, and has been recommended by a number of Cape Cod veterinarians who are proponents of positive reinforcement for training and behavior modification.
A native of Salt Lake City, in 2008, Nicole returned home and is helping dogs and their families in the Greater Salt Lake City area.
Nicole uses multiple positive reinforcement training techniques to accomplish your goals, including luring/prompting, shaping and capturing. She also can consult families on nutritional needs for their dogs, including supplements and herbs. She attends APDT Conference and ClickerExpo on a regular basis and uses the clicker to accomplish a number of training cues. For more information about clicker training please see www.clickertraining.com.
